Located in the town centre of Tain l’Hermitage, near the river Rhône and church, the museum is surprising in its unusual character in the middle of the surrounding houses.

Its tower was built in the sixteenth century by the rich trader Sebastien Courbis who supplied the famous Richelieu Cardinal with fine wines, kept its stone spiral staircase and mullioned windows. Managed by Marie PALUE, Pierre PALUE artist’s daughter, some exhibitions are offered all year long.
