The train of historical journeys on the rail-way Tournon-Lamastre has been bearing the name of the “ Mastrou “ for more than 120 years !
The daily excursion starts with the discovery of the Doux Gorges, then the train continues its ascent towards Ardèche mountains and chestnut tree forest to reach the station in the small town of Lamastre, at midday.
Before the departure at 2.45 p.m. during a getaway, everyone can succumb to many restaurants, explore the town on foot, have a good time on the terrace, share a friendly picnic on the banks of the Doux river, enjoy to swimming or a walk, a game of bowls….
